Job description

As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our target audience. You will collaborate closely with our marketing team and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop design concepts, and bring them to life through innovative and compelling visuals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conceptualizing and designing website layouts, graphics, and user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the final product.
• Conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to refine designs and improve user experience.
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in web design and user interface design, and incorporating them into your work to maintain a competitive edge.
• Providing design support for various digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media graphics, and digital advertisements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a web designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and familiarity with web design software such as Sketch or Figma.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for designing for various devices and screen sizes.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers to implement designs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that drive results.
