Job description

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing the policies and procedures associated with our company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Your primary responsibilities will include managing, designing, and executing strategies to ensure the seamless operation of the EAP. This entails ensuring that counseling and care facilities meet stringent company standards, providing comprehensive training to management personnel on effectively addressing medical and behavioral issues, and offering counseling services to employees enrolled in the program.

You will be tasked with reporting directly to top management, where you will provide regular updates on the progress and performance of the EAP. Additionally, you will lead a team of subordinate managers and professionals, overseeing their day-to-day activities and providing guidance and support as needed. Your role will also involve collaborating with other departments to align EAP initiatives with broader company goals and objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach to employee wellness and support.

As a strategic decision-maker, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable input on initiatives that impact the functional area of responsibility. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in shaping the direction of the EAP and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance its effectiveness and impact.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience working as an Employee Assistance Professional, with a proven track record of success in managing EAP programs.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT or LMFT), or licensed psychologist in the state of California (PhD).
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with staff, faculty, and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Preferred certification from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and/or Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) certification.
